Zusammenfassung

Die Längsachse des Femurschaftes steht beim Neugeborenen in einer Abwinkelung von ca. 150° zur Achse des proximalen Femur (Caput-Collum-Diaphysen-Winkel). Bis zur Adoleszenz tritt hier eine Varisierung bis ca. 120° ein (Hefti 2000). Die physiologische Detorsion des Schenkelhalses gegenüber der queren Kondylenebene des distalen Femurendes (Antetorsionswinkel) verläuft von 40° bei Geburt bis ca. 15° beim jungen Erwachsenen. Sie erfolgt in 2 Schüben, einmal zwischen dem 5. und 8. Lebensjahr und dann kurz vor Wachstumsabschluss.
