Zusammenfassung
Man unterscheidet die schwierige von der unkomplizierten Respiratorentwöhnung (= weaning). Der Begriff „unkompliziert“ bezieht sich auf die Entwöhnung nach kurzzeitiger Beatmung. Hierzu gehören beispielsweise die Entwöhnungen nach einer Narkose zur Operation oder nach sehr kurzzeitiger Beatmung.
