Bereits 1925 berichtete Lexer von dem Einsatz von Allografts. In den 60er und 70er Jahren propagierten Parrish, Volkov, Ottolenghi und Nilsonne den Einsatz von Allografts. Mankin u. Gross publizierten in den 90er Jahren zahlreiche Arbeiten zum Einsatz der Allografts.
