Abstract

The article proposes an apochromatic TEM composed of usual round lenses. The TEM has the following features. (1) The number of elements to be controlled is quite a few: additional installing of three round lenses changes the conventional TEM to the apochromatic one. (2) All the lenses are magnetic, providing aplanatic (Cs=0) and also achromatic (Δf=0) high voltage electron microscopes without concerning electrical break down difficulties.
