Zusammenfassung
Die für den Menschen pathogenen Arten von Würmern lassen sich in Trematoden (Saugwürmer), Cestoden (Bandwürmer) und Nematoden (Fadenwürmer) einteilen. Innerhalb der Nematoden ist es sinnvoll, die Filarien gesondert zu betrachten, da diese von blutsaugenden Fliegen und Mücken übertragen werden.
