Definition. Die unkontrollierte Harnentleerung nach dem vollendeten 5. Lebensjahr wird als Enuresis bezeichnet, wenn keine angeborenen oder erworbenen Innervationsstörungen oder Erkrankungen des Harntraktes vorliegen. Ansonsten sollte der Begriff Inkontinenz verwendet werden.
