Abstract

Since nasal endoscopy and CT were first introduced into general ENT practice, controversy has arisen over the terminology of the anatomical landmarks in the nasal cavities. Useful terminology for the rhinologist is sparse in the anatomical nomenclature, and the introduction of different terms by English and French authors has contributed to further confusion.
