Zusammenfassung
Dank der rasanten Entwicklung der modernen bildgebenden Verfahren (fMRT, PET) hat sich unser Wissen über den komplexen Aufbau des menschlichen sensomotorischen Systems enorm entwickelt (▸ Kap. 18). Mit Hilfe dieser Techniken können wir uns der Aufklärung der Pathophysiologie der komplexesten motorischen Störungen, der Apraxien, so weit wie nie zuvor nähern. Unterschiedliche Apraxieformen ergeben sich durch Läsionen verschiedener Strukturen des motorischen Systems, demnach bedeutet, die Apraxien zu erforschen, die Vielschichtigkeit des höheren sensomotorischen Systems kennen zu lernen.
