Abstract
Nail nevus is a benign melanocytic tumor that involves any part of the nail apparatus [1–8]. Most cases involve the nail matrix, and rare cases involve the nail bed and/or the nail lateral folds. Extremely rarely a blue nevus, which corresponds to a heavily pigmented, exclusively dermal melanocytic tumor, involves the nail apparatus.
