AAM Based Matching of Hand Appearance for User Verification

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science ((LNCS,volume 3338))

Abstract

We present a method for personal authentication bsed on deformable matching of hand appearance. Authentication systems are already employed in komains that require some sort of user verification. In this work, active appearance models, which has good ability of fast locating deformable objects in images, have been proposed for recognizing hand appearance and the results are compared with existing methods.
