Zusammenfassung
Fragen eines guten Lebens spielen sowohl in der Individualethik als auch in der Politischen Philosophie eine wichtige Rolle. Für die Technikethik sind sie bisher kaum explizit fruchtbar gemacht worden, obwohl sie implizit vor allem technikkritische Diskurse beeinflussen. Bevor die Relevanz der Thematik eines guten Lebens beleuchtet werden kann, muss jedoch geklärt werden, was mit der Rede von einem ›guten Leben‹ gemeint sein soll und welche allgemeinen Ansätze zur Bestimmung eines guten Lebens gegenwärtig diskutiert werden (vgl. Steinfath 2011). Bei der Differenzierung der Ansätze dominiert die Gliederung in hedonistische, wunschtheoretische und objektivistische Positionen (vgl. Parfit 1984, 493–502).
