Zusammenfassung
C. ist in erster Linie durch seine Cembalo-Stücke bekannt, die mit ihren außermusikalischen Titeln stets als frühes Beispiel der Programmusik angeführt werden. Sein Œuvre umfaßt jedoch neben den Klavierbüchern auch Kammer- und Kirchenmusik, darunter auch zwei Orgelmessen und zahlreiche Motetten.
