Zusammenfassung

Regelsysteme, auch Produktionensysteme genannt, stellen eine weitere „klassische“ Methode für die Wissensrepräsentation und Inferenz in der künstlichen Intelligenz dar. Besondere Bedeutung haben Regelsysteme durch die Tatsache gewonnen, dass ein Grossteil der heute bekannten Expertensysteme auf diesem Formalismus beruht. Es existieren zahlreiche Anwendungen von Regelsystemen in Bild- und Spracherkennung.
