Abstract

The EXTREME regimen is the gold-standard treatment in the first-line setting for R/M SCCHN patients. New approaches have explored taxane, platinum and cetuximab-based combinations and results of TPExtreme trial are eagerly awaited. There is also an urgent need to explore these new combinations with emerging immunotherapies in the first-line setting.
