Abstract
This epilogue synthesises some of the main points and findings presented in this volume. It identifies more specifically different trends in language revitalisation practices, namely processes of legitimisation through classification, republican language ideologies, and new domains for revitalisation. It also comments on the contemporary situation of minority language revitalisation in France, which appears to be increasingly out of step when compared with other countries within the European context.
