Abstract
In this final chapter of Part II, we consider five important steps needed to build better relationships. In our book Conversations at Work, Aubrey Warren and I outline four steps to relationship building conversations. I’ve added a fifth step in this chapter.
When someone does display the nerve and skill to speak up candidly, respectfully, and confidently about the real issue, everyone sits up straighter and recognizes that something important has happened. This is authenticity-in-action.
