Abstract
Marcel Grossmann engages himself on many fronts; he gives lectures and makes speeches, writes articles and textbooks, and purposefully establishes his social and professional networks. And, as in the household of his parents, it is the duty of the wife to organise all the other aspects of life. Anna Grossmann does this gladly; she finds the role of a professor’s wife and her life at the side of her young, generally well-liked and good-looking mathematician husband pleasing. And she had been prepared perfectly for her duties.
