The base of this word comes from Bloom’s Taxonomy. It refers to a classification of the different objectives that educators set for students (learning objectives). It divides educational objectives into three domains: Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor (sometimes loosely described as ‘knowing/head,’ ‘feeling/heart,’ and ‘doing/hands’ respectively). Studying in this regard would be beneficial and improve trainers’ knowledge in respect of students’ skills in the training process. For further information trainers can refer to Taxonomy of Educational Objectives: The Classification of Educational Goals. However, this book does not aim to introduce the psychomotor skills that are introduced by Bloom. This book means those actions which are related to an instructor’s motions and are basically psychological.
