Abstract

The paper describes single phase voltage source active rectifier intended for electric traction use. The converter pulse width modulation technique is described and analysed in detail. The harmonic analyses of each signals are performed and the results are described. The theoretical conclusions are verified by simulations on developed mathematical model of single phase voltage source active rectifier of rated power of 350 kW. The ideal semiconductor components are expected for the modelling.
