Abstract

We look at the pitfalls of the typical request for proposal (RFP) cycle and offer improvements that connect the vendor more closely to producing business value, as well as providing a closer rein on cost and schedule overruns. We pay particular attention to large package implementation contracts, which are too often problematic for unsuspecting clients.
