Abstract
Partial gastrectomy with Billroth I reconstruction is performed to treat complicated peptic ulcer disease and sometimes for early gastric malignancies. This chapter lists the indications, essential steps, common technical variations, and complications of the procedure. A detailed template operative dictation note is included.
