Abstract
Laparoscopic esophagomyotomy is performed for achalasia. Partial fundoplication is generally added to decrease the risk of postoperative reflux esophagitis. This chapter lists the indication, essential steps, common variation in procedure, and complications. It provides a detailed template operative dictation.
