Abstract

The Afterword briefly reasserts the significance of the BBC Caribbean Voices radio program for literary development in the British Caribbean of the 1940s and 1950s and rearticulates the importance of Henry Swanzy as a major figure in the literary history of the Anglophone Caribbean.
