Abstract

Fontana provides the first analysis of the nexus between education reform and the politics of power-sharing in societies emerging from civil war. The introduction refers to the literature on conflict management and education to highlight the urgency of this study. It introduces the three case studies: Lebanon, Northern Ireland and Macedonia. It presents this work’s hypotheses and research methods before outlining the contents of the following chapters and anticipating their conclusions.
