Tumor-Like Lesions

The World Health Organization (WHO) classification of uterine corpus tumors 2020 includes tumor-like lesions – endometrial polyp, endometrial metaplasia, Arias-Stella reaction, and lymphoma-like lesion (Kim et al. 2020).

Endometrial Polyp (Fig. 1)

Definition

Endometrial polyp is a localized, disorganized proliferation of benign glandular and stromal elements that is usually elevated above the surface of the adjacent endometrium.
