Timan Shore – the name of Malozemelskaya tundra shore extending northeastward from Cape Svyatoy Nos (Timanskiy) to Cape Russkiy Zavorot over about 280 km. Most of this shore is the southern shore of the Pechora Sea (southeastern part of the Barents Sea). The shore is straight, sandy, mostly bluff, yet occasionally descending flatly to the sea. The shoreline is slightly winding forming small unnavigable bays. The only island of Sengey is situated off T. S.
