Abstract

Pengzhou’s Baishui river and Bailu river basin are located in the Longmenshan central fracture and the former Mountain fault, where geological environment is very complex. Geological environment quality there was severely damaged in the “5.12” Wenchuan earthquake. In order to make sure the suitability of the geological environment quality status for human survival and development, it is necessary to evaluate the geological environment quality. Through the basic conditions of geological environment data collection and collation, use AHP method to determine the evaluation of the weights and the composite index method to divide the quality of the geological environment of the study area into four grades. Calculate the geological environment quality evaluation results of the study area in three time periods, before earthquake, after earthquake, and repair of geological disasters. The conclusion is in the Pengzhou Baishui river and Bailu river basin are of generally low-quality geological environment before the earthquake. The main factors affecting the geological environment quality is the geological structure and geological disasters; the geological environment quality on study area suffered severe damage after the earthquake. Due to the earthquake induced geological disasters in the study area and the geological environment quality in the bad level, the main factor is the earthquake-triggered geological disasters; Part of the geological environment quality is improved after repairing the geological hazards in the study area, mainly along the Baishui river and Bailu river, the main factors about the geological environment quality are the geological structure and geological disasters in repaired geological disasters time.
