Abstract
Also known as the Morita–Baylis–Hillman reaction. It is a carbon–carbon bondforming transformation of an electron—poor alkene with a carbon electrophile. Electron-poor alkenes include acrylic esters, acrylonitriles, vinyl ketones, vinyl sulfones, and acroleins.
