Abstract
Coverage interval is a new concept for expressing the uncertainty in metrology. The computation of measurement uncertainty of diameter is presented basing on analytical method for calculating the coverage interval. In measurement a laser measurement scanner was used and a change in the position of an object was considered as the source of a systematic error (which is treated probabilistically as a component of the coverage interval).
