Abstract

Only 207 infants with diaphragmatic hernia were found. Some maternal characteristics (overweight or obesity, three years or more of unwanted childlessness, previous miscarriage and non-cohabitation) were associated with increased risk estimates but none was statistically significant. No association with maternal drug use was seen but the number of exposed women was low.
