Simulation in EMS and Critical Care Transport

Abstract

This case will review the management of a patient with a stroke who received thrombolytic therapy, complicated by a hemorrhagic conversion of the lesion. Providers should perform a neurologic examination and recognize the change in clinical status. Providers should apply ALS care and airway management. CCT providers should also consider initiation of reversal medications as per local protocols.
