Abstract

This chapter describes the importance of esophagram in the workup and management of patients with diseases of the foregut. It describes the technique for performing the study and the specific findings and pathology it is able to demonstrate. We discuss its importance in pre- and postoperative evaluation of a patient and specific clinical and diagnostic implications.
