Abstract
This book sought to explore the relationship between the research literature on youth offending and youth justice and the international children’s rights standards, identifying synergies to strengthen the rights-based approach to children in conflict with the law. This concluding chapter summarises the findings from this process, sets out gaps that have been identified and presents some next steps so that the exercise can be taken forward.
