Abstract

The paper presents a methodology for assessing the risks of negative environmental impacts (NEI) on the environment during the operation of gas production wells (GPW). The main events that can lead to negative environmental impacts are considered, and the relationships between these events are formalized using the theoretical-multiple approach. The methodology proposed in this paper to assess the risks of occurrence of NEI allows to determine how likely the occurrence of NEI on a particular environment (atmosphere, soil, etc.), taking into account verbal and numerical assessments; determine the risk of NEI and how much this risk is acceptable for the company, which can then be used to effectively reduce the risks for the company and will reduce the harmful environmental impact on the environment during the operation of GPW. #CSOC1120.
