Abstract
Susan Embretson is professor of quantitative psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology and was president of the Psychometric Society in 1998. Embretson wrote her dissertation at the University of Minnesota in 1973 under Renee Dawis’ supervision. Her research interests include item response models, validity, and the cognitive basis of item responses.
