Abstract
This article proposes to tackle our entry into Anthropocene as an observable phenomenon not only through its effects, chiefly on the composition of the atmosphere and the disappearance of biodiversity, but also through its key factor: the process of industrialization of human activities. We owe our entry into this new era to new social entities that we have recently engendered: modern organizations on which we now depend to meet our vital and social needs, and which meanwhile endanger our own survival. Are these organizations the result of an improvement of what previously existed or do they represent a break in our history? Depending on the response to this question, the diagnosis and remedies will be different.
