Abstract
The evaluation of knee joint malalignment is challenging for orthopedic surgeons because of the different pathologies’ complexity causing the problem. The origin of this entity is generally multifactorial. Therefore, the clinical examination is essential and should take special attention to the history, physical exam, and all the necessary tests to have a precise diagnosis to treat the problem efficiently. It should be remembered that a proper therapeutic approach can only be achieved with a thorough analysis of the patients’ disorder, not only examining the area of knee involvement but also looking at the whole patient. Finally, the clinical evaluation is mandatory to determine the additional factors needed to complete the diagnostic process and plan the strategy to treat the pathology effectively.
