Zusammenfassung
Um zu einem ganzheitlicheren Verständnis der Mitarbeiterloyalität beizutragen, werden in diesem Kapitel das Konzept und die Komponenten der Mitarbeiterloyalität abgeleitet und erläutert. Die Loyalität von Mitarbeitern hat verschiedene Vorläufer und gliedert sich in Loyalität gegenüber dem Vorgesetzten, der Arbeitsgruppe und der Organisation. Diese Loyalitäten und weitere multiple Loyalitäten einer Person können miteinander konkurrieren und sind situationsabhängig. Infolgedessen werden positive und negative menschliche Ergebnisse sichtbar. Viele verschiedene Theorien leisten einen wertvollen Beitrag zur theoretischen Fundierung der Mitarbeiterloyalität und grenzen sie von verwandten Konzepten wie dem organisatorischen Engagement ab. Die am intensivsten angewandten Theorien sind die Theorie der sozialen und organisatorischen Identität, die Theorie des sozialen Austauschs und die Theorie des psychologischen Vertrags. Neben diesen drei Theorien und dem Konzept wird auch die Entwicklung der Mitarbeiterloyalität als Forschungsgegenstand dargestellt.
