Abstract

This chapter begins by listing and discussing the different approaches to implementing ethics in daily operations, whether via formal committees or by staff trainings. It then proceeds to discuss the kinds of operational cases in which ethics mechanisms become important for an institution. Topics include operating in corrupt environments, visa status, research ethics among imperiled communities, dangerous modalities and employee risk.
