Abstract

The construction of social institutions (pre-school educational institutions, secondary schools, hospitals, cultural centers and others) is of great importance along with the construction of housing stock - the population of the country and the leisure of citizens must be provided in sufficient quantities with social infrastructure facilities. However, at the present time, humanity is faced with a lack of free territories for construction. One of the solutions is to allocate territories for complex reconstruction to ensure their sustainable development. The article discusses the methodology and prospects for its use for pre-investment assessment of areas of integrated and sustainable development for the construction of social institutions. The application of this methodology will allow us to approach the study of the proposed construction area from a scientific point of view, by analyzing both the regulatory and urban planning components. The latter will further reduce construction risks and provide a database for use at all stages of the life cycle of a social institution.
