Abstract

Leaders based on diode-pumped solid-state lasers are widely used in remote monitoring of the Earth's surface and aquatic environments. The introducing into measuring systems a device using forced Mandelstam-Brillouin scattering to correct wavefront distortions that occur when passing through an inhomogeneous medium makes it possible to improve the quality of the resulting image when processing the waveform in real time. The paper theoretically studies the effect of spontaneous scattering on the main characteristics of parametric excitation for the case of multiple intersections of pump radiation with a signal wave. The obtained results can be used to improve the image quality during remote sensing of the sea surface using laser detection systems.
