Abstract
It should be noted at the outset that by method we do not mean methodology as the science of methods. Rather than to discuss the ontological and epistemological foundations of our qualitative research, we in the following focus on the techniques we applied to obtain, analyze, and interpret data in order to draw inferences regarding our research question. In the spirit of hermeneutic source analysis (Bowen & Bowen, 2008; Diekmann, 2002, 510–516; Rosser et al., 2021; Sager & Rosser, 2015), our method essentially involves the case selection, on the one hand, and the identification and verification of the sources we consulted to answer the research questions, on the other.
