Abstract

The issue of the admission of private locomotive traction to public infrastructure has been repeatedly raised and in the light of recent times is quite relevant. Even though private locomotive traction is present on some low-load railway lines, representatives of the community of rail transport operators (SOJT) continue to lobby their interests to allow their locomotives to use the public infrastructure. Therefore, consideration of the process of admission of private locomotives to public infrastructure is quite relevant. The study of this issue on the basis of simulation modeling allows us to obtain the results of the operation of the station and the polygon in different modes of operation with different initial data. The presented work reflects the features of the description of the technology of operation of one of the junction points of the railways of the Eastern Polygon when implementing the introduction of private locomotive traction on public infrastructure in the AnyLogic simulation system. The operation of the docking station was considered in several modes of operation: by the locomotive fleet of the main carrier and during the implementation of work on the introduction of private locomotive traction (a different number of operators). The result of the work is the identification of possible infrastructural and technological limitations in the implementation of the program for the admission of private locomotives to public infrastructure.
