Abstract
Conjoined twining is one of the most fascinating conditions in pediatric surgery [1]. The region of fusion may vary leading to different types of conjoined twins (cephalopagus, thoracopagus, omphalopagus, etc.). Managing these challenging anomalies requires cooperation of different surgical/medical specialties that will depend on the region of fusion [2, 3]. Here, we are concerned with conjoined twining at the pelvic region, which is known to hinder normal anorectal development. At the pelvic region, conjoined twins may be joined ventrally (ischiopagus) or dorsally (pygopagus).
