This book presents the proceedings of 2nd EAI International Conference on Smart Technology (MTYMEX), which took place April 27th, 2021, online and in Monterrey, Mexico. About the editors

Dr. Francisco Torres Guerrero has a bachelor degree and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Texas and a doctor of philosophy with specialty in Cognitive Psychology from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). He is currently working as Professor at UANL graduate school in the Information Technology phd program. His areas of specialty include software development and the integration of technological solutions for various industries.

Leticia Neira, is a systems engineer, from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, has a Phd. in Administration from the UAT, Autonomous University of Tamaulipas, in Mexico.  For the past 10 years, she has participated in research projects on serious games for health, education, and training process. She is currently a professor in the Information Technologies Doctoral program at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, UANL. She directs the Virtual and Mixed Reality software laboratory at CIIDIT,(Center for Innovation, Research, and Development in Engineering and Technology).

Dr. Jorge Bacca-Acosta is associate professor at the Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz in Colombia. He holds a Ph.D in Technology from the University of Girona (Spain), and a Master's degree in Industrial Informatics from the same University. He has been working in the field of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in education for more than 8 years. His research interests are AR and VR for educational purposes and eye-tracking in VR. He is currently the leader of the Colombia chapter of the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN).
