Abstract

Digitization is increasingly finding its way into everyday medical life in ophthalmology, be it in the form of an electronic medical record (EMR), in the field of diagnostics, management of imaging data, or in the field of research. Innovations such as big data analysis and artificial intelligence also have a major role to plan in the future of ophthalmology.
