Abstract
The meatal advancement and glanuloplasty incorporated (MAGPI) procedure is suitable to correct glanular and coronal hypospadias with mobile distal urethra. The size of the meatus and the size of the glans contribute to the final cosmetic outcome of the procedure. The complication rate after the MAGPI ranges from 1.2% to 10%. Meatal stenosis and meatal regression are the problems most commonly encountered, while other infrequent complications include urethrocutaneous fistulas and chordee.
