Urologic Cancer and the First Patterns of Metastasis

  • Chapter
  • First Online:
Cancer Metastasis Through the Lymphovascular System

Abstract

In this chapter we will describe the patterns of metastasis for two of the most common genitourinary malignancies, prostate cancer and bladder cancer. We will also discuss aspects of management for individuals with node-positive disease to provide insight into the clinical impact of metastasis on oncologic outcomes.
