Abstract
Considering its abundant natural resources, Albania should be regarded as a country with favorable conditions for economic development. Moreover, should only these natural conditions be sufficient for the economic development of a country, with its natural resources, Albania should have been among the most developed countries in the region and in Europe. But despite its abundant natural resources and favorable geographical position, Albania is little developed. One reason for this is related to the influence of the human factor which is equally important in this development. How the natural potentials are used in favor of economic development is determined by man. There are also several other factors, such as the historical, political, and social conditions which play their part in this regard.
