Abstract
Coronavirus pandemic or COVID-19 outbreak has created huge disruptions in the supply chains of goods and commodities. Continuous reconfiguration of supply chain is the new theme in the post-COVID world for all the FMCG retailers. A series of lockdown have caused much more serious implications for the businesses and firms. Today, FMCG producers and retailers need more flexibility than ever in their global and local supply chain process to be successful. A resilient supply chain for FMCG goods is the need of the hour which requires understanding of any contingencies. In addition, after the crisis traditional modern retailers inside shopping malls are affected, and there is a pressing need to re-emphasize on digital platforms and partners. Due to behavioral changes, proper planning and assessment of consumer demand, logistics infrastructure, warehousing capabilities etc. are quintessential for managing the stockpile of critical FMCG items.
